For this project we were asked to look at a Pub with 6 guest bedrooms to provide a more cohesive internal layout and welcoming entrance. The building was remodelled and extended to provide new kitchen facilities and toilets and the internal layout was redesigned to create a warm and welcoming space for both customers and staff with a connection to the outside space.
The different sides of the existing building felt disjointed in appearance and the outside spaces did not make best use of the sunny aspects. To address these issues the project included the external renovation of the property to replace the windows and doors that were not in character with the original building. A new porch was constructed along with outside dining space on raised decking to take advantage of the southerly aspect.
