This project involved the extension and refurbishment of a traditional local pub to provide, a more cohesive internal layout, increased dining capacity and welcoming entrance at the rear of the property. We had redesigned another of their pubs, the Jug and Bottle in Heswall, which has been a great success and the owner wanted to reinvent the Fox and Hounds in a similar manner. The building was remodelled and extended to provide additional dining space, which is flooded with natural light and we repositioned the bar area to improve the internal flow. It was important to maintain the traditional snug area of the pub which is popular with locals and dog walkers alike, whilst increasing the catering capacity. The Fox and Hounds reopened just before Christmas 2018 and has successfully created a warm and welcoming space for both customers and staff.
